THE BRITISH MUSEUM

TELLING THE STORY OF 8M OBJECTS AND 2M YEARS OF HUMAN HISTORY

The British Museum is the oldest national public museum in the world and is home to a vast and unique collection of over twelve million objects sourced from across thousands of years of history.  The breadth and depth of its collection allows the public to explore the history of mankind through some beautiful artefacts drawn from the history of human culture.

It is home to iconic pieces such as the Rosetta Stone, The Parthenon Sculptures, the Samurai Armour and the Mummy of Katebet.

The Museum tells the story of 2 million years of human history and culture, from ancient Egypt to Aztec Central America, ancient Rome to modern day China.  The collection is home to an array of beautiful fabrics, jewellery, weapons and tablewares drawn from the variety and history of human experience.

This is the first time that the British Museum name and its unrivalled collection of assets have been made available for licensing.  The programme offers a unique opportunity for licensees to work with a globally renowned brand.
